The journal Studia academica Šumenensia is an open access scholarly journal that publishes original, high-quality research on all aspects of history and archaeology of the Balkans and South– Eastern Europe. The journal encompasses studies from prehistory till Modern time especially in the field of archaeology, prehistory, numismatics, epigraphy, anthropology, classics and history. Interdisciplinary studies are especially welcome.
SAŠ is published in international languages – English, German, French, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
