Submission Process
All submissions are considered by the Editor-in-Chief in the first instance. The submission should not be previously published, nor under consideration by another journal. Manuscripts can be submitted as a word file and as a pdf file. Having determined the affinity to the field of interest and the period covered, the scientific quality and relevance of the contribution are the main criteria for the articles to be selected for Studia academica Šumenensia.
Authors are strongly advised to read the notes
for contributors before submitting a manuscript. Submitted manuscripts that do
not adhere to Studia academica Šumenensia ‘s standards may be returned to
the author(s).
Manuscript Structure Manuscripts should be structured as follows: |
→ a title page with the title of the article, name(s) of author(s), email address(es) of the author(s), and their affiliation(s) |
→ an abstract between ~100 and ~200 words |
→ a short list (between four and five entries) of keywords |
→ recommended structure of the main content: introduction, methods, results & discussion, and conclusions) |
→ supplementary content (e.g. acknowledgments section, catalogues, etc.) |
→ a list of references |

The journal does not have article processing
charges (APCs), nor article submission charges.
Contributions will be published in German,
English, French, Italian, or Spanish.
Manuscripts submitted for assessment must be
complete. Subsequent additions to the texts can not be accepted.
It is taken for granted that prior to the
submission of the manuscripts, the publication rights were obtained from the
relevant authorities.
All the manuscript should be to the
Editor-in-Chief.
The editorial deadline is November, 30.
The authors are urged to correct only sentence
or spelling errors in the proofs. In the corrections, the use of the usual
correction characters is desired; In any case, attention should be paid to the
unambiguousness of the respective correction.
With the publication of the volume containing their contribution, the authors receive a PDF file of their paper and one printed copy of the issue.
